Nowe Skalmierzyce-Poland, September 29th - October 5th, 2019
Miniature buildings, new games, new learning strategies and many interesting
activities took place in Poland amongst teachers and students of the participating countries
of the project.
The third meeting took place in Nowe Skamierzyce, Poland, in September 2019. One of the seminars we attended was entitled "Learning foreign languages with mind games", with the English teacher analyzing techniques on how students can learn new words and then keep them in their memory. The programme also included games for students, such as "ERASMUS TRAIN", a type of domino that required the use of logical and encyclopedic knowledge. Also, the children attended a Chemistry lesson in which they actively participated in an experiment in which they had to carry out a chemical reaction, which was even accompanied by the production of flame as an exothermic reaction. Finally, they attended a robotics lesson and built their own Lego robot. The trip to Poland also included a visit to both Warsaw and Krakow. In Warsaw, we even visited the science park called "Kopernikus". In this park, the children had the opportunity to use scientific measuring instruments and experiment on natural phenomena, mainly electricity and magnetism.
